About Aquaworld Xcel Mini Internal Power Filter
The Aquaworld Xcel internal aquarium power filters offer 3 types of filtration; mechanical, chemical and biological in one compact simple to use and maintain unit.
Mechanical and biological filtration is performed by the dual purpose foam insert, which leads to a clean and safe environment for all aquatic life. Chemical filtration is offered by the carbon cartidge which removes odors, colours and other impurities giving the water a sparkly clean appearance.
The Xcel Mini is a 3w filter, with a maximum flow rate of 300 litres per hour, suitable for aquariums up to 27 litres.
It is strongly recommended that the next model up is used with messy fish such as goldfish or larger cichlids.
