The XP-SSS series also incorporates the outstanding Bubble Blaster Pump which are purposely designed skimmer pump, unlike many which are just adapted water pumps. It is designed to enhance filtration by using the innovative pinwheel impeller which delivers more bubbles in a much larger volume. The more bubbles that are in the skimmer, the better the skimming procedure and therefore better results.

• Pin-Wheel Impeller - The Bubble Blaster Pump uses a 108 pin-wheel impeller which slices through the bubbles induced from the air intake and splits them to much smaller bubbles, therefore dramatically increasing the numbers of bubbles in the skimmer. More bubbles means more effective skimming.
• Silicon Nitride Impeller - The Bubble Blaster is fitted with Silicon Nitride shaft and bearings. Unlike other ceramics, Silicon Nitride has superior wear-resistance and will prevent calcium build up.
